So where have I been?

I have stated several times that I have been busy doing a very specific diet that wasn't the most widely excepted so I decided to focus on it away from my regular blog site. Well, it is over, and I am back on a normal diet, well kinda! So what was I doing?

hCG protocol is what it is called. I had to take an injection for 40 days and was only allowed 500calories a day because the hCG releases the rest of your daily caloric needs in stored fat.  You don't have hunger or shaking or low blood sugars.  It is something that has been around since the 1960's.  So, I did this and my experience was mixed.  I had issues with hunger throughout the entire 40 days, but I loss a good amount and a lot of inches as well.  I got the motivation back that I had started to lose and so for that I am thankful for the time but I am up in the air as to if I will do it again.  I have to wait for 6weeks to do it a second time either way.

So what are the numbers from my time on hCG: I lost a total of 25.7lbs and 18.25inches:

Back at it!

Well, if you have been watching my blog (if anyone is) then you will know that it has been really quiet around here for awhile.  I am happy to say that I am back at it!!  I have been on a VERY specific diet, one that many people may have looked down on, so I decided to keep seperate from my normal weightloss pages to keep people from making statements that were going to be rude, mean and/or negetive!  I am happy to say that this weekend I will be done with this and will be back to a "normal" diet!  I will write a blog about the specifics of my weightloss while I was "missing" once it is over and done with!!!  I have already started planning my next steps!!  I am excited to lose all this weight for good and to start my next chapter!!

I started this year with a very "loose" diet.  I didn't track anything, I didn't weigh or measure things!  I had decided that my diet would consist of just eating the "right" type of foods.  This worked for me for awhile but I knew that eventually I would need to get more "strict" about my diet.  I was able to loose almost 20lbs before I leveled off.  I then started what I am doing now and have been able to lose more wieight (which I will go into at the end of this week when I am done and know my "offical" numbers).  I know I can't go back to what I was doing before b/c I will either gain my weight back or I will just maintain which isn't what I am looking for either!  So, my new life (I say life because I am not going to do this as a temporary diet but as something that I do for the rest of my life) will be focusing on fitness as well as tracking my food intake.  I have a couple apps on my phone to help me track both my food and my progress!  I am going to be sticking with a 1500 calorie diet and I have purchased 16 personal training sessions and a family pass to a local gym to get my workout routine the best it can be!  I am so excited about all of this.  To hopefully help myself out a little I am going to be taking a "supplement" (for a lack of a better word) calld Bios Life Slim; this is suppose to help my glucose and insulin levels as well as having a fiber supplement in it that will help with my appetite!  I am excited about this product as well and hopeful that with everythng else I am doing I will lose all the weight and be able to keep it off for the rest of my life!!!
