Broccoli Stirfry

I created this recipe last night on a whim, I was suppose to make a stirfry but I didn't like the recipe that I had so I threw some stuff together and what came out was not only good it was one of my husbands favorites in awhile!

Broccoli Stirfry
Ingredients
1 bag frozen Broccoli (cut medium/small size)
Soy sauce
6 garlic cloves sliced
1 can or 5-6 fresh mushrooms
1/2 yellow onion sliced
1tsp cornstarch
1tbs canola oil
Chicken (whatever you want for 4 servings) chunked
1 tbs Chili sauce (or fresh hot pepper whatever amount you choose for heat)
water

Directions:
1. heat wok or large skillet to medium-high to high
2. place about 1 cup water in pan and cook chicken to a golden brown
3. add oil and once hot place garlic followed by onion
4. once garlic is golden brown add cornstarch and mix in
5. add can of mushroom w/liquid (if you use fresh mushrooms you may want to add 1/4cup water)
6. cook stirfry for about 1 minute and then add broccoli
7. add chili sauce or fresh hot pepper
8. pour in soy sauce to flavor (I used about 1/4-1/2cup) The cornstarch will thicken the sauce up.
9. cook until broccoli is heated throughout stiring frequently

This is great by itself or with some brown rice, cous cous or lowmein noodles!!
Enjoy

I can't configure nutrition since this is a pour/dump recipe and add as much as you would like.  It should be low in calorie though and high in fiber!!
